I would like to do something unique that I think will be of great help to those who are considering whether to purchase pet insurance and/or researching various companies that offer policies. But, I need your help.
Those of you who already have pet insurance and have filed claims, please send me a copy of the veterinarian's invoice and a copy of the insurance company's reimbursement statement explaining how they arrived at the amount reimbursed, etc. If an insurance company denied a claim for some reason, that would be helpful information too. Any comments you also provide will be appreciated.
I will write a blog post using the information provided. This will go a little further than a typical review of the insurance company because it will allow pet owners to actually see an invoice/claim submitted matched up with the insurance company's reimbursement statement. I would also comment on the information you provided from a veterinarian's perspective.
